Book Donations

The Hellertown Area Library accepts books from our patrons during regular operating hours, but please limit your donations to three boxes or bags at any one time.  Please do not put donated items in our outside book drop box or leave them by the front entrance when the library is closed.  We appreciate your gift and will evaluate each item for inclusion in the collection.  If an item is not added to our collection, it will be sold in our book sale.  All proceeds from the book sale will benefit the library.  Please read the guidelines below before bringing your donations to the library.  You may request a receipt for tax purposes for those items determined to be in "very good or better condition."  The library staff is prohibited from placing a value on donated items and can only acknowledge the number of items donated.
