Summer Reading 2021

Join us for a "roaring'' good time at the library this summer with science adventures, scavenger hunts, Lego challenges, cooking with Miss Andrea, library field trips to the Lil-Le-Hi Fish Hatchery and Lost River Caverns, firefly catching, water fun, book clubs, and much more!!

"Leap" on over to the Hellertown Area Library to be a part of our exciting animal themed summer reading program, "Tails and Tales!"  This summer will be filled with lots of exciting activities that feature animals, science, art, reading and summer fun! Many events are now being held outside in order to accommodate more participants safely! Bring a blanket or chairs! Some events are inside the library, and require registration, and some events are on the library's Facebook page, 

Teens/Tweens -- get ready for awesome summer fun with movies, cooking events, book clubs, art, a special event where we'll learn to tie balloon animals and lots more!!

Last Day to Turn In Summer Reading Logs and receive your weekly prize and carnival tickets is Saturday, August 14th!

Log your reading! Kids and teens -- track the books you read this summer! When you read 10 books or 100 pages per week, you'll receive a weekly prize and a sticker to create your own animal scene.


Registration for the summer reading prize program begins June 1st.
