Beginning Wednesday, June 12 the Hellertown Area Library will provide library services for the residents of Saucon Valley Manor. These services will include print and large print materials and audio books delivered to the first floor activities room. Residents may sign up for a library card and agree to the terms of the Library's Homebound Service Policy. Every third week Library staff will bring additional materials for selection by the residents. This program is funded by a grant from the Keystone Nazareth Charitable Foundation.

 PA Forward / Pennsylvania Libraries, a new inititative of the Pennsylvania Library Association, aims to make sure that libraries have what they need to help people reach their greatest potential and meet the demands of 21st century life. This initiatiive establishes new public-private partnerships and builds on the belief that librariies are uniquely positioned to help Pennsylvanians improve their command of five types of literacy essential to greater success in all vital roles of life, from citizens, students, and parents, to employers, employees and consumers.
